Enchanting romance

Finally had an outing with moon tonight.
Yes I knew woods too had a right.

The noisy gushing waters did complain.
For I was the new one and their privacy in vain.

The gentle breeze against my hair, like her slippery fingers through.
The sweet scent of air, like her musk pure and true.

The silvery light on every side, like the embrace of my bride.
Feeling inert as I drowned in the pool of her virgin pride.

The shy twinkling stars take their turns to glance.
Each one trying to savour it's own chance.

The light of this lamp did have a calming effect.
I kept searching as I stared, but there wasn't any defect.

How in the midst of clouds did it celebrate its charm.
They left it every short while, though without any harm.

Yet its solitude did not cast a melancholy.
There it lay shining with utmost serenity.

How has it learned to control its emotions, I beg my Lord may I learn.
It's grace and composure is what I yearn.

When I see the lights of this world, ugly is the way they shine.
Like pincers they hurt thy eye and never benign.

But unique is this heavenly lamp and it's light.
Calm, composed, tranquil and pure delight .
